Living Izzy’s Way: Laugh Often, Hug Big, Love Deeply

Our Mission

Supporting The Skydiving Community

We’re a family of skydivers and know all too well the magnitude of losing a loved one. And throughout our skydiving careers and dropzone ownership, we’ve watched first-hand how difficult it can be to recover – not just physically but financially – after being injured while skydiving. The Memorial Fund at Izzy’s Wing exists to help our fellow skydivers and instructors make it through tough times by covering some costs related to accidents and injuries.

FAQ: Get Involved With Izzy’s Wing

Priority is given to individuals employed in the skydiving industry who have been injured on the job and who anticipate loss of wages. Other individuals also may be eligible to apply. Memorial Fund financial assistance is provided on a case-by-case basis with priority given to those with documented outstanding medical bills related to a skydiving injury.

Izzy’s Wing can only provide supplemental financial assistance. Memorial Fund allocations will depend on the level of need, completed documentation, and availability of donated funds. Izzy’s Wing is committed to using donated funds to support its mission and will direct fund usage with the utmost integrity.

For skydiving professionals who face prolonged absence from work, we may be able to help with non-medical expenses. For loved ones whose family member was in a skydiving accident, the Memorial Fund may be able to help pay for travel or other costs.

The Memorial Fund cannot cover medical bills already paid for by health insurance. We will pay the provider directly once funds are awarded. Please visit our application portal for more information about required documentation, including proof of financial need.

Izzy’s Wing hosts seasonal canopy skills camps at DZs across the country and we pay for the instructor’s time and travel. We accept tax-deductible donations and are required to follow 501(c)3 rules. Donations are not able to be earmarked for a specific individual, but our mission is to support our skydiving community. If you know someone who is injured, we will review the application and eligibility with the utmost integrity.
